Job Title: Controller/CFO
Duties
• Manage all areas of A/P, A/R, Banking, Journal Entries, and Reconciliations.
• Some HR duties as they pertain to accounting.
• Quarterly tax returns.
• Manage payroll, benefits administration, and light human resources work
• Cash management.
• Develop, refine, and implement the necessary systems and internal controls to manage daily financial operations.
• Oversee tax reporting and compliance (Federal, State, Local, Sales, other).
• Work in concert with CEO on company growth strategies.
• Perform special projects as required.
Skills/Requirements
• BA in Business, Accounting, Finance from a four year university.
• 5+ years of experience including at least four years as a financial controller/CFO in charge of running an entire accounting department.
• Expertise in accounting principles and procedures, A/P, A/R, general ledger, payroll and financial analysis.
• Excellent knowledge of Quickbooks accounting software.
• Experience in eCommerce a plus.
• Proficient PC skills (MS Office: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc).
• Ability to work on multiple projects independently.
• Small, fast paced, growth experience a plus.
